Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner delighted Twilight fans as they took to the stage at the MTV VMAs to present an extended highlight of the New Moon trailer.
All of the actors looked well, with Pattinson and Lautner looking particularly buff. Speaking to MTV News before the awards, Lautner explained that if he and Robert were to compete in a ‘shirt off’, he’s really not sure who would win.
He said: "I don't know [who would win]. Rob, he's getting some muscle. There's some good competition."
Taylor plays werewolf Jacob in New Moon and was required to work out for the role. When asked if Rob had spoken to him for body advice, he said: "No, he definitely doesn't need any pointers at all. He's got it covered."
Fans are set to be delighted when New Moon is released on November 20, especially as Rob and Taylor are going to be revealing their new bodies in numerous shirtless scenes.
Taylor also revealed that he doesn’t partake in as much action as he would like in third Twilight movie, Eclipse. He said: "We're at war the whole time or most of the time. I think it's going to be pretty good but it's a bummer 'cause I'm a wolf the whole time, so it's not actually me getting to do my action. ... But you'll be able to see the cute fuzzy wolf."
