Atonement and Last King of Scotland star James McAvoy, has been voted hottest Scotsman in a poll conducted by Homecoming Scotland.
To celebrate legendary sexy Scot Sir Sean Connery turning 79 (79?!), homecomingscotland2009.com ran a light-hearted survey to find out which Scottish male sends our hearts a flutter.
Over one million people voted and the hunk who came out top was none other than Mr. James McAvoy. Ah yes, the girls in the stv.tv office quite agree with this choice.
Coming in second was dishy Doctor David Tennant followed closely by Ewan McGregor and Gerard Butler.
Sir Sean doesn’t make it into the top 4 but we’re sure he’s still on a lot of ladies lists.
Now we look forward to attending the awards ceremony to see these hotties pick up their awards in obligatory kilts in true Scotsman style… Well a girl can dream!
