All eyes were on Andy Murray and Roger Federer as the tennis stars did battle at Wimbledon yesterday – but the ever-glamorous Duchess of Cambridge, her little sister Pippa Middleton, and Andy’s stylish girlfriend Kim Sears also managed to steal some of the attention as they attended the Men’s Final.
Duchess Kate and her little sister are both huge fans of tennis, with both being s spotted at games throughout the tournament this summer, the Duchess with her husband Prince William and Pippa with her brother James.
Yesterday they decided to attend together, delighting audiences from around the world who had tuned in to watch the tense match, as the lovely ladies added an extra splash of glamour to the day.
Dressed in a stylish cream dress and jacket by Joseph, elegant Kate showed why she has become one of the biggest style icons of the moment. The Duchess chose to accessorize her outfit with drop amber-coloured earrings and a leopard-print bag –giving the look a modern twist.
Kate’s sister Pippa, 28, also looked stylish in an on-trend blue and white bird-print peplum dress, which clung to her petite frame and proved she's still got curves to die for.
But while the sisters are used to dominating many of the fashion headlines, they had another person to contend with yesterday – Andy Murray’s stunning girlfriend Kim Sears, 24, who more than held her own in the style stakes.
Kim also opted for cream like Duchess Kate, but chose a long-sleeved off-centred v-neck top which was tucked into a high-waisted black skirt, finished off with a pair of stylist orange and gold animal-print sandals. The look was completed with her eye-catching £1,750 Tag Heuer diamond-set watch.
The former student, artist and wannabe actress has been supporting her man throughout the entire tournament and has been winning plaudits for her stylish choices, which have included a £135 clover-print dress from Whistles and a bright blazer from Zara.
Kim’s style has been compared to Duchess Kate’s in recent weeks, with both women known for carefully blending high street items with designer pieces. Both also boast long-flowing, loosely waved brunette locks, that give women hair envy all over the globe.
