Not content with being a pop princess, Cheryl Cole has made no secret of the fact she would love to be a real life princess as she has a major crush on Prince Harry – join the queue Chezza.
While the stunning singer may not have landed her dream date with Prince Charming just yet, she has been getting close to his brother and sister-in-law – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, or Kate and Wills as she no doubt calls them now!
Fresh from performing a duet with Gary Barlow at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, Cheryl was invited to enjoy an after party with the royals and she was most impressed with how normal they are.
She said: ''I spent quite a bit of time chatting to Kate and William.
''She's just so normal. They're royals but they're not disconnected from us, they know what's going on in the world.
''They were just saying how happy they were with the performance and what a good night the queen had.
''I was a bit starstruck though, a bit like, 'Wow, these are our royals and I'm in Buckingham Palace having a drink.’”
The Call My Name lovely was in awe of Kate’s warm personality and praised how she has handled the pressures of royal life.
She said: ''Kate's doing really well. It must be tough being thrust into the limelight but she doesn't seem to flinch.
''She takes it in her stride. I love that she wears things twice. Welcome to the real world.” You’ll be loving her today Cheryl, as Kate has once again brought out her trusty blue Missoni coat for a Jubilee trip to Nottingham.
While Kate seemed delighted to be enjoying a good old girly gossip with Cheryl, her mum, Carole Middleton, was also quite taken with the star, telling her: “You've got Middleton dimples.”
Cheryl has attended some of the most glamorous and spectacular events in the world, but the Diamond Jubilee Concert topped them all, as she told The Sun: ''The whole experience was overwhelming actually. You're in Buckingham Palace for a start, the whole of the Mall was packed with people waving flags - and then you had all the royals there.
''And I was singing with Gary Barlow. The craziest night of my life.”
