Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly keen to lose her remaining baby weight and plans to do some walking to shed the pounds.

The new mum looked slim when she joined her husband Prince William at the start of the Ring O’Fire Coastal Ultra Marathon in Anglesey.

Well-wishers at the event said the Duchess spoke about her eagerness to get into shape with a fitness routine.

Park warden Will Stewart said: “She seemed genuinely interested in doing some walking.

“Especially after the baby, she wants to get back into shape. I said, ‘You don't need to worry about that!’ She looked great.”

Prince George is only five weeks old but Catherine said he has grown since his arrival.

Local mum-to-be Sarah Bingham told the Telegraph: “She looks wonderful. I said ‘How's he [George] doing?’ She said ‘He's doing really well, he's with his grandma’.”

Marian Wyn-Jones, the High Sheriff of Gwynedd said: “We were talking about the joy she was having from George and how quick he was changing, she couldn't quite believe it.

“She's enjoying every minute of it. He's getting quite huge, she said.”

The royal couple have lived in Anglesey for several years but are planning to leave when William takes up his new military post later this month.
