Wills and Kate are said to be planning to host a “knees-up” when Prince Harry returns from Afghanistan.
The 28-year-old is set to return from the war zone “within days” and the Duke and Duchess are said to be planning a “boozy” bash to welcome him home.
Insiders told the Daily Star that the party will have “all the booze he has not been able to drink during his grueling tour of duty”.
A source told the newspaper that the exact date of Harry’s return is a “strict secret”.
They are quoted as saying: “Soldiers’ families are rarely told the date of their loved ones’ return until the day before.
“And because Harry is the most sought after scalp among the Taliban, the timing of his flight is one of the Army’s strictest secrets.”
Insiders also claimed that Prince Charles’s wife Camilla and Kate’s sister Pippa will also help organise the party.
Harry, who is an Apache helicopter pilot, has been on a four-month posting to Helmand province.
