X Factor judges should make their minds up

The Write Factor: Hey! We cast our votes every weekend, says Sara Firth. So what's this deadlock deal with the judges all the time?

X Factor judges should make their minds up

So it’s the third week running that the shows gone to deadlock.  Only this week it was Simon Cowell getting a taste of his own medicine as we all lost Jamie when Louis and Cheryl chose Lloyd in the sing-off.

The deadlock issue is starting to dominate this series and quite rightly people are getting well and truly peeved at the judges lack of ability to do their job and MAKE. A. DECISION.

It’s not that hard…the voters do it every week. They pick up the phone and choose their favorite.
In fact if the judges persist we could just can them altogether and take the show over ourselves!

We could turn the set into a Jedward shrine and all the other singers would compete to see who’d be their support act on tour!

The furore that’s going to follow this week as once again we’ve proved that the pop juggernaut that is John and Edward cannot be stopped, will be a sight to behold.  Simon said this week that he could no longer judge the twins ‘in the real world’ he had to judge them in ‘Jedwardland’ and he was right. The normal rules don’t seem to apply this time around.

All you haters out there who are going to be complaining need to take a moment before you start ranting and accept what the rest of us all did a long time ago – that despite defying all logic the twins are absolutely brilliant!

As per usual there’ll be a riot of angry protests about how The X Factor is a "singing competition" and not a "talent contest" and how good singers are being sacrificed for the sake of a few giggles at the twins on a Saturday.

But once again public power rules and we get another week to look forward to the next crazy instalment of Jedmania.

It does seem a little sad to see Jamie go now… especially instead of that flipping Lloyd (even he looks embarrassed that he’s still there). However awesome as he is Jamie was starting to get a bit samey, a bit like Diana Vickers – amazing but after a while you don’t expect anything new.

Although for anyone who saw Louis on The Xtra Factor saying Jamie wasn’t a real rocker it seemed like he was sticking the knife in a little bit hard?

So now it really is anyone’s game. The twins are thriving, no-one really knows who’ll be next to go (apart from the obvious fact at some point soon it’ll be Lloyd) and this is playing out to be one of the most controversial X Factors yet.

you said it "the voters pick up the phone eveery week and vote for their favorite"

So why should it not be the person with the least votes that leaves the show.

Personally when it get's the the public voting

I think the judges should no longer have a say in who stay's and who goes.
