Grave concern: What to do when the dead get up
Dr Dale Seslick, world expert on surviving a zombie apocalypse, is bringing his essential training session to the Fringe again. And this time he has published his Zombie Dictionary to help his students.
Back in 2008 Dr Dale founded his school of survival to train the masses to resist the rising of the undead.
He brought his zombology expertise to the Festival in the shape of a self-help seminar. Hundreds now have the knowledge that will keep them alive.
Dr Dale’s top tips include:
- How to train a sheep to defend you or attack the undead – they can’t do both.
- How important being bald is in avoiding zombie infection.
- Contrary to popular belief, cemeteries are actually fairly safe places to be during an uprising.
- Remembering that decapitating a zombie will not kill it.
- Putting your umbrella into a zombie’s mouth and opening it will kill the monster immediately.
For more must-have training, How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse : RELOADED is on at Zoo Southside at 7.45pm from August 6 to 29 (not 17 and 24).
Dr Dale’s Zombie Dictionary The A-Z Guide To Staying Alive is published by Allison and Busby.
