Twilight: New Moon star Robert Pattinson has given fans around the world hope by saying that he’s single - and not going out with Kristen Stewart.
It’s been widely believed that the pair, who play lovers in the blockbuster vampire saga, were going out in real life.
However, neither Rob nor Kristen have ever confirmed the rumours - and whatever the deal was, it seems that Mr Pattinson is most definitely on the market.
He reportedly told Italian Vanity Fair: “I am single… almost everything that came out about my private life is false.”
The shock news will stun fans who thought he was about to shack up with Kristen, but Rob believes all the speculation and false rumours come about because he gets up to so little in the public eye.
Rob apparently explained: “I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing.
“While I am filming, I live practically [like a] recluse in [a] hotel. I come out only to work , and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”
