New Moon star Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, was interviewed by STV's very own Grant Lauchlan in the massively hyped run-up to the latest blockbuster in the Twilight saga.
The newly buffed-up actor has shaped up enormously since starring in the first Twilight movie - a fact that’s not lost on Grant.
Taylor said of his extreme preparation for New Moon: “It was difficult, it was definitely challenging.
“The easy part for me was actually getting in the gym and doing the physical work, because I was motivated, but the hard part was the eating. It was really tough.”
Taylor also had the time to talk about the “fandemonium” that’s greeted him and co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart with the new movie, and how his character Jacob has developed in the sequel.
He also was able to answer questions from stv.tv visitors, including one from Glasgow's Louise asking how he got his teeth so white (!), plus which an especially fiendish query about who he’d rather be stuck on a desert island with - Rob or Kristen.
Asked it he’s ready for the reaction he’s going to receive, Taylor said: “I don’t think so, I think that’s the thing. There is no preparation, we just go with the flow.
“But it’s great, we love the fact that we have that kind of support behind us, and it makes us feel a lot more comfortable doing what we’re doing.”
