While the rest of us looked like we had been dragged through a bush backwards at T in the Park 2012, the stars who graced the stage looked just as glam as ever as they faced the elements.
That was largely thanks to the work of the Artistic Style Team from The Rainbow Room International, who were in charge of blow drying and styling the barnets of the musicians backstage. It’s a tough job!
A host of Scottish favourites, including Amy Macdonald, The View and Emeli Sande took advantage of the Scots snippers’ expertise so they could look their best for the home crowds. Emeli’s trademark blonde quiff was quite a sight to behold after the talented team had worked their magic.
Bands like The Wanted and Rizzle Kicks also stopped by for a gossip and a trim, sharing their excitement at the prospect of playing for the fabulous Scottish fans.
While making good use of the backstage facilities, the team also managed to get a host of musicians, including Noel Gallagher, to sign a guitar, which will be auctioned to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Suzie McGill, Scottish Hairdresser of the Year said: “All the bands loved having a proper hairdresser on site and were happy to sign a guitar which we will auction to raise money for the kids at Teenage Cancer Trust’.
Rainbow Room allowed us to take a sneak peek at their backstage snaps from the festival. Check out the celebrities and their gorgeous locks above.
