Handsome singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti has talked to STV about working with some great talent as his own career builds and builds.
STV’s Laura Boyd talked to Jack just after he performed at T in the Park. Of their performance he told her: “I’ve got a new single which is called Lifetime, which is out before the end of the summer.
“We’ve been playing that – and it’s got a really nice response, actually, because it’s quite a bit of a singalong, a get involved kinda song, so it’s been nice to do at festivals.”
And what of working with well known names?
“I’ve always liked to do collaborations,” Jack explained. “When it comes to the music industry, it’s funny, it’s an oxymoron – music industry – but I like to try and keep as much of it in my pocket as possible, and stay away from too much of the game.
“I’ve been on the road with great artists like Jake Bugg and Springsteen, Corrine Bailey Rae, so I’ve been lucky to find the opportunities to work with great artists. You learn a lot, and you get a lot better, when you work with great artists.”
Of working with Sienna Miller he said: “It was amazing. It was one of those things that happened in the early hours of the morning.”
