From Switzerland, throughout Europe, all over North America and picked up by people in Argentina, China, Brazil and Australia there is a sound transmitting on airwaves that has been rousing clubbers appetite for the dancefloor over the last 2 years. The Tytanium Sessions radio show has just reached it’s 100th episode. Sean decided to cut a path from the airwaves straight to the dancefloor with a series of exclusive parties to celebrate his shows coming of age.
Forged to be brave in “showcasing up-to-the-minute music alongside cutting-edge remixes and bootlegs”, those who regularly follow the Tytanium Sessions radio show will know that is with this ethos that Sean’s desire to purvey production quality, format and theory has led to a constant exploration with the shows playlist as he seeks to deliver powerful, melodic music.
The series kicked off on Thursday 23rd June with a blistering pack of guests in Simon Patterson, Arnej, as well as local support, Canada’s prime clubbing destination Circus in Montreal. Then next stop for Tytanuim Session 100 will be on Friday 24th June at one of Miami’s hottest clubs Dream, Sean and his Tytanium tour were joined by special guests John O’Callaghan and Sied van Riel for what was a amazing party. Rounding up the North American tour, Sean returned to his home city of New York to take over the renowned block rocking Webster Hall in Manhattan on Saturday 25th June. Sean was joined on the final leg of his Tytanium Sessions 100 tour by John O’Callaghan, W&W, Sied van Riel, Tom Colontonio, as well as his brother Ryan Tyas.
Long been in his mindset and with the arrival of his radio shows 100th episode, Sean felt the timing was right to extend his Tytanium clubbing imprint that extra inch. So attempting to reshape a new slicker side to the trance mould, Sean has decided to open a new avenue in the production world and create his own label titled - Tytanium Recordings. With an aim to evolve his own Tytanium sound through the label, he also plans to showboat a broader, fresher sound from his respective scene with new music by established and emerging artists he supports both on his show and in his DJ sets.
Unrevealing the label this July 2011 with the release of his new single ‘By The Way’, the arrival of Tytanium Recordings marks a new musical era for an artist who Radio 1’s Pete Tong recently called “a buzzword in trance circles”.
Sean brings his Tytanium Sessions to The Sin Nightclub in Edinburgh on Friday 19th August. For more information on how to get tickets CLICK HERE!
