With tens of thousands of spectators and competitors, and over 200 bands from across the globe, today’s ‘Worlds’ at Glasgow Green proved an event to remember for all involved.
As well as the all-important competition, The Worlds has plenty of other entertainment on offer to make it a perfect family day out.
There was the kid and youth zone, a crafts fair, the Glasgow World Highland Games, bars and lots of delicious food on offer.
As well as that, there was some fantastic Highland Dancing on display. The sunny weather meant that the crowd were in good spirits – with many of the competing pipers relaxing after their performance and hitting the beer tent.
Northern Ireland's Field Marshal Montgomery walked away with top prize, marking them out as world champions for the second year running.
