Cheryl Cole is gearing up to hit the road with her first solo arena tour this October, with dates across 10 venues in the UK and Ireland.
The Call My Name singer will be making her way up north to Scotland when she hits Glasgow’s SECC, as well as stopping by other venues including London’s O2, the LG Arena in Birmingham, Dublin’s O2, the Echo Arena in Liverpool, and the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle – Cheryl’s home town.
The news was announced today on Chezza’s official website, in a statement that read: “The news you've all been waiting to hear! Cheryl has just announced her first solo nationwide arena tour, with dates up and down the UK and Ireland this October!”
Pre-sale tickets for the A Million Lights tour are up for grabs tomorrow (June 13) on Cheryl’s official website and go on general sale go on sale this Friday (June 15).
The Geordie star recently made her musical comeback with pop/dance track Call My Name, and is releasing her third solo album A Million Lights on June 15.
But just as the singer announced the exciting news of her solo arena tour, she also admitted she is more than aware of her vocal constraints, saying she is “no Mariah Carey”.
“I am very aware of my ability, I know I’m no Mariah Carey but I think the emotion in the song is what matters,” The Sun quoted the singer saying.
“It’s making people feel what you’re singing about.
“My new album is designed to entertain and I know when I take to the stage and I see a million little lights it really is game time."
The star was recently slammed for her Diamond Jubilee performance, which some dubbed "out of tune".
