Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald has kicked off her marathon five-gigs-in-one-day attempt for the STV Appeal.
The stunning star, who hails from Bishopbriggs, looked super-glam as she performed at the first venue of the day, Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree, at 8.30am this morning.
Playing some tracks from new album Life in a Beautiful Light as well as some of her most famous hits, Amy soon woke up the bleary-eyed crowd who had turned out en masse to see her performance.
One couple were so keen to see Amy, 24, that they travelled all the way down from Shetland to see her. Now that’s dedication for you!
Comedian Bruce Devlin also charmed/offended the audience brilliantly, blowing off any early morning cobwebs. If you’re going to one of Amy’s shows later today, ask him what he thinks of “Cheryl” Cole...
Following her first performance of the day, Amy will make her way to Dundee where she will entertain the crowds at Duke’s Corner at 12.30pm.
Next she’ll perform at The Tolbooth in Stirling at 4pm, before moving on to The Caves in Edinburgh for a gig at 8pm.
The busy day will conclude in Glasgow’s SWG3 venue, where Amy and the gang will take to the stage for the final time today, kicking off the performance at 11pm, before after-gigathon party at the venue – if anyone is left standing following the mammoth day!
