Former Arab Strap musician Malcolm Middleton – currently receiving strong reviews for his album as Human Don't Be Angry – has been confirmed for the music festival in Kilsyth this August.
Middletonwill be bringing his band to perform his recently released Human Don’t Be Angry project at the festival. Also joining the bill are Chemikal Underground’s recent signing Miaoux Miaoux, Plantet Mu’s Rudi Zgadlo and the award-winning Clout Theatre Company.
Weekend camping tickets are available now priced £78 – though raise to £88 on June 1 – and are available from here. Yurts and a “posh camping” area have also been announced.
Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival, which takes place at Duncarron Fort, near Kilsyth, on the weekend of August 24 to 26, is headlined by The Phantom Band, King Creosote and Hidden Orchestra.
Other bands on the bill include Pram, Kid Canaveral, Aidan Moffat & Bill Wells, Sparrow & The Workshop, Three Blind Wolves, Bwani Junction, Holy Mountain, The Imagineers, Withered Hand and JD Twitch (Optimo).
This year the festival moves to a new home at Duncarron Fort. Situated in woods in the Carron Valley, near Kilsyth, the site is a recreation of an early medieval motte and bailey fort, a clan chief’s residence built as a living history attraction by the Clanranald Trust.
