Cover Drive discuss their relationship with Rihanna and supporting JLS

We caught up with the lovely Cover Drive at In:Demand Live at Glasgow’s SECC on Sunday and the four-piece from Barbados once again proved they are the bubbliest band in pop.

Cover Drive performed at In:Demand last year, when they were fresh from supporting Rihanna and fairly new on the music scene.

Fast forward a year and they have enjoyed incredible success, with a number one single with catchy Twilight.

They said: “We’ve been working really hard and it’s been paying off,” adding “we always have our best time in Scotland so we’re very excited to come back.”

That’s just as well as Cover Drive are heading to Balado this July for T in the Park – something they are extremely excited about.

As well as that, they have support slots with Olly Murs, JLS and Kelly Clarkson to look forward to.

Extremely busy, but as Amanda said: “We can rest when we’re old but we’re young now!”
