Calvin Harris has produced the new single for Cheryl Cole – making it another star collaboration for the Scottish musician who has now helped create a number of chart-topping hits.
The 28 year old from Dumfries is currently working on his third studio album. Due later this year, it’s already produced the singles Awooga, Bounce and Feel So Close, with new single Let’s Go released on Sunday.
But today it’s his collaboration with Cheryl – who has dropped the surname that she took from husband Ashley – for Call My Name which has been making headlines. Hear it below:
The single is set for its official release on June 10, and has been taken from forthcoming new album A Million Lights.
It’s the latest of several star names that Calvin has worked with over the past few years. Most recently he produced the massive hit We Found Love for Rihanna.
He has produced a few tracks for Kylie Minogue including Too Much for her most recent album – famously admitting that he needed “a few drinks” before meeting her!
Calvin also hit the top spot in the singles chart with Dizzee Rascal and their tracks Dance wiv Me and Holiday.
As well as those stars he has produced for Tinchy Stryder, Mary J. Blige, and has apparently contributed tracks to Kesha’s. He did also turn down the chance to work with Lady Gaga before her massive success, but guess you can’t win them all...
