Admiral Fallow release video for Paper Trench

Gearing up: group are on tour throughout Scotland during next month

One of Scotland’s most hotly tipped up-and-coming bands, indie-rock group Admiral Fallow has released the first video for their upcoming second album Tree Bursts in Snow.

The Glasgow group played a sold-out hometown show at the ABC in January, and have announced a show at the Barrowland on Saturday December 12.

They are also playing a series of Scottish dates starting on Sunday in Gourock, travelling onwards to Mull, Aviemore, Inverness and Stirling amongst other towns. (For full information visit their website.)

Directed by Greg Davenport, the video for Paper Trench was filmed in Glasgow and Loch Lomond, featuring a rather leafy individual seeking some peace and solace...

New album Tree Bursts in Snow is released on May 21, with a special release of first album Boots Met My Face on double gatefold vinyl tomorrow to celebrate Record Store Day.

The group received a huge boost for their profile in the US when one of their tracks, Squealing Pigs, was used for a commercial during the Super Bowl, which attracts huge viewing figures on the other side of the Atlantic.

The band comprise Louis Abbott (vocals, guitars), Sarah Hayes (flute, piano, accordion, vocals), Kevin Brolly (clarinet, keys, piano, vocals), Phil Hague (drums, percussion, vocals) and Joe Rattray (bass, vocals).
