Colours are very proud to present the first ever Full On Ferry show in Scotland. Ferry Corsten will bring the Full On Ferry experience to the O2 Academy Glasgow on Saturday 28th April for a night that will have trance fans in their element. Full on Ferry is something that has to be experienced, not only does it feature back-to-back sets between Ferry Corsten and all the other DJs on the night, it will be an audiovisual show to blow your mind! Unlimited Production (the team behind Tiësto & Showtek’s full scale production shows) will be bringing their LED & lighting equipment and putting them all together to bring you the Full on Ferry experience. Trance fans will unite for one night only in Scotland with one of the world’s most legendary DJs.
Producer. DJ. Pioneer. Innovator. Visionary. He’s the man that singlehandedly initiated a revolution in a dance music genre -one that’s long since touched every corner of the globe. Having designed the Dutch trance sound, he propelled it into the clubbing consciousness and on further still into popular culture. From there he continues to innovate at every turn, working with vocalists as diverse as Simon Le Bon and Guru and has remixed music from some of the planet’s most enduring artists - U2, The Killers, Faithless, Moby and William Orbit among them. For 20 years he’s foreseen what club citizens want to dance to and as an artisan DJ/producer, delivered it. He’s released four artist albums under his own name (the most recent offering WKND was released in March 2012) and in doing so has captured the hearts and minds of legions of fans and scooped some of the world’s most prestigious music prizes along the way. He’s regularly ranked as one of the top 10DJs in the world, and of late has turned to charitable activities, working with the World Wildlife Fund. Yet through all this he’s still one of the most down-to-earth, two-feet-on-the-floor DJs you’ll find. He’s Ferry Corsten.
Joining Ferry Corsten on the bill will be Aly & Fila, since their burst onto the international clubbing consciousness with their massive hit “Eye of Horus” back in 2003, they have been a full-on inspiration to clubbers and DJs alike. Their euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance has seen them rise to an A-list status alongside the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and many more. Catch them play back-to-back with Ferry Corsten on the night.
Another DJ who will be giving you the Full on Ferry experience is Bart Claessen. Over the last ten years he’s been responsible for huge club hits, international chart smashes and sub-genre defining releases. His exacting studio standards combined with a unique blend of electronic music styles has won him a formidable production reputation. As a spinner, his warping, club-smashing DJ sets have caught the imaginations of clubbers worldwide, pulling in universal plaudits along the way. He’s also pulled off the uniquely tough trick of musical reinvention... He’s none other than Bart Claessen.
Top Scottish trance DJs David Forbes & William Daniel will get the night off to a great start as they represent the homegrown talent at The O2 Academy. This event is not-to-be-missed, if you love trance then you need to be involved in Full on Ferry Glasgow on Saturday 28th April 2012 at The O2 Academy Glasgow.
