Missed the sound of Cheryl Cole’s dulcet tones blasting out your radio?
Fear not. The Geordie beauty has just announced her third album is complete and it’s safe to say she is a little bit excited about the new music.
She Tweeted: “Yesss.! The album is DONE !!! *dancing all over the place* I’m Soooo HAPPY and EXCITED to share with you !! #CherylMusic on its way.. Booyaa.”
Booyaa indeed. Cheryl has been working on the record for months, spending a great deal of time in LA recording with a host of top producers, including Alex Da Kid and Patrizio Pigliapoco.
Under the watchful eye of BFF and manager will.i.am, she is also thought to have worked with Usher and Taio Cruz. This is going to be some album!
One artist who won’t be featuring on Chezza’s third masterpiece is Cher Lloyd.
The girls seemed inseparable when Cheryl mentored Cher during her stint on The X Factor in 2010, but since then they haven’t stayed in touch and Cher’s comments about Ms Cole haven’t exactly paved the way for a beautiful friendship.
Earlier in the week Cher was asked if she would consider a duet with Cheryl, to which she resplied: "Maybe if she sings live with me."
When pushed to explain the comments during the Real Radio North West's Real Breakfast Show, which host Debbie Ousbey said sounded like a challenge to Cole, Cher responded: "Well it always is nowadays, when you haven't got the nifty little button to press."
When asked if she meant auto-tune, Lloyd laughed and added: "What, oh no? Never, never ever!" Put those claws away.
Never one to take things lying down, Cheryl posted a cryptic message on Twitter, which read: “Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly.” Wonder who that was meant for, eh Miss Swagger Jagger?
