Mogwai: headlining the Sunday of this weekend's Electric Frog festival
Headlined by Mogwai and Jeff Mills, and featuring acts such as The Fall, Derrick May, The Orb, Frankie Knuckles and Errors, this weekend’s Electric Frog festival staged in the heart of Glasgow has revealed the event’s stage times.
Already staged twice this year at its SWG3 venue, Electric Frog has cemented itself as an ever-more popular staple of the festival calendar with its carefully curated line-ups.
Its final edition of the year is taking place on Saturday September 10 and Sunday 11, each day with a different bent.
The first day features a day-long programme of electronic and DJ performances featuring Chicago house legend Frankie Knuckles, influential techno pioneer Jeff Mills, Detroit stalwart Derrick May and New York’s Joaquin "Joe" Claussell.
The second day features full band performances from Glasgow’s internationally acclaimed post-rock kings Mogwai – whose new Earth Division EP has today been made available for streaming – a rare live performance from electronic veterans The Orb, the joyous instrumental post-electronica of local group Errors and another rare performance from acclaimed Kompact Records artist The Field.
Each day takes place from 2pm until 10pm, and for ticketing information visit theelectricfrog.co.uk. The times are as follows:
