Fancy a little bit of pop in the park? Jedward and Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall will headline Glasgow’s summer weekend of fun, the Glasgow Show, on July 30 and 31.
The singers top the bill of musicians, performers and action-packed family events taking place at Glasgow Green at the end of the month.
2009 X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels will also perform alongside Sky1’s Got to Dance finalists The Box and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist The Fusion – it’s a talent show lovers dream!
The council-run, two-day, festival features everything from motorcycle and parachute display teams to street theatre and circus performers.
Jedward, who auditioned for The X Factor in Glasgow, spoke of their excitement at returning to the city.
John said: “Glasgow is so full on and we are really excited about playing there.”
Edward added: “It’s gonna be really cool, we can’t wait to meet our Scottish fans.”
The fun kicks off on Saturday July 30 with the Glasgow Show Parade leaving George Square at 11.30am, before following a route through the city centre to the Green.
Family tickets cost £12 - 2 Adults & 2 Children (children must be under 16 years of age) - and adult tickets are £5.
Concessions are £3 while Kidz Card/Young Scots get to enjoy the action for just £2. Under 5's go free!
