RockNess starts today and looks set to be the biggest and best yet in its five-year existence – and is going to be there to cover it.

Headliners on the Main Stage this weekend at the Highland-based summer festival include Kasabian tonight, The Chemical Brothers on Saturday and Scottish treasure Paolo Nutini on the Sunday.

There’s also a variety of other delights on that stage including Glasvegas, Example, The Twilight Sad, Magnetic Man, Two Door Cinema Club, Laidback Luke and The Wombats.

Some of the other headliners set to thrill on the banks of Loch Ness include The Cribs, Groove Armada, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, Frightened Rabbit and Sons and Daughters.

RockNess has grown into one of Britain’s best loved music festivals, and has been there all the way seeing some amazing sights and talking to some great artists. Check out all our reviews from last year - and also great photos of the festival-goers.

We’re going to be there again this weekend to provide the latest reviews and gossip, as well as talking to some of the star names appearing at the festival.

Make sure to check, where all the most recent articles will be – for those heading along you can check Sean’s weather forecast to see whether you’ll need warm clothing or plenty of sunscreen. Or both!

So if you’re unable to make it along, or want to build up your excitement for the festival ahead of its start this afternoon, be sure to head along to Let’s hope it’s a good one!
