Take That have revealed their plans to release a new mini-album’s worth of material next month – and released a video preview for new tour Progress Live which starts next week.
The rejuventated five-piece – who again feature Robbie Williams among their ranks – are releasing another eight tracks as part of a double-disc release Progressed – which perhaps unsurprisingly will feature recent album Progress on the other disc.
Though it could be seen as something of a cash-in, fans will undoubtedly be eager to hear the new tracks, with Progressed coming out on June 13.
It’s been reported that the new tracks - including latest single Love Love - feature more lead singing by main songwriter Gary Barlow, who only took the lead vocal in only one track on Progress.
The group start their new tour in just eight days, and they are of course playing three dates at Glasgow’s Hampden Park from June 22 to 24.
New track Love Love features in upcoming superhero blockbuster X-Men: First Class, and was performed by the boys last week at The L'Oreal Paris National Movie Awards.
