BRIT Awards 2011: Bieber fever takes hold

Justin Bieber attended his first ever BRIT Awards ceremony tonight, and revealed that he was “really excited” to be there.

The 16-year-old, who has enjoyed global success especially in the last year, told BRITs host James Cordon: “I’m going great, I’m dong great.”

He added: It’s my first time here I’m really excited, so many people are so nice here, I’m excited.”

The crowd certainly seemed pleased to see him, with Bieber fever well and truly taking over –  super cool Fearne Cotton gave the young star a shout-out.

The blonde-haired pop star is nominated for International Breakthrough Artist at this year’s awards, so he will no doubt be hoping that his success in the music industry over the last 12 months will secure a win.

Justin, who has worked with stars including Usher and Sean Kingston, in the past might be looking to team up with Brit star Jessie J – this year’s Critics’ Choice winner – after revealing that he’s “really into” the singer.
