The Fratellis have announced their return to live performing for a seven-date UK Tour in April.
The Glasgow group are halfway through recording their comeback album - and they want to reassure fans it’s a return to their roots.
Jon, Baz and Mince have been working on the new record, since they announced their reformation in September, and the album will be out next year.
Fratelli said: “We’ve not changed in any way that is going to challenge people too much and you can’t really expect people to buy into what you are doing and then completely change it.
“You do enough to keep them motivated and interested.”
The Fratellis formed in March of 2005, and within two years had sold over a million copies of the Tony Hoffer-produced debut album Costello Music in the UK alone.
Costello Music gave birth to some catchy, singalong anthem including T in the Park favourite Chelsea Dagger – which they’ll be performing again at the festival this July.
The April UK tour dates are as follows:
- 11: London Electric Ballroom
- 12: Birmingham The Institute
- 13: Manchester The Ritz
- 15: Bristol O2 Academy
- 16: Newcastle O2 Academy
- 17: Liverpool O2 Academy
- 19: Glasgow Barrowland
