Paloma Faith talks third album, acting plans and summer festivals

**Paloma Faith has started 2013 with a bang, with the outlandish singer kicking off the year on a UK tour which has seen her travel across the country showcasing hits from her second album Fall to Grace.

Things are pretty hectic for the flame-haired star just now and they show no signs of slowing down, with Forest Live gigs and T in the Park also booked in for the summer.

But even with all of that in the diary, it doesn’t stop there, as Paloma explained to’s Gill Harvey.

“I’m going to start a new album, [I’ve got] my tour in the summer festivals – I’m doing the O2 Arena in London which I’m scared about it, that’s the biggest gig I’ve ever done on my own, “ she explained.

As well as a successful singer, Paloma is also a respected actress, having appeared in movies including The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and most recently appearing as cabaret performer Georgia in the TV comedy Blandings.

And she’s got big plans for even more appearances on the big and the small screen.

“I just sent an email to my agent to say ‘I’m available for acting roles again’.

“[A while ago] I was a bit too full of work, I couldn’t do everything, I was like ‘can you stop sending me to auditions for a bit!’.”

It looks like we can expect to see much more of Miss Faith in the next few months.
