X Factor star Cher Lloyd is on her way to being a hit in the US.
The 18-year-old has sold one million copies of Want U Back, her debut solo single in the States.
Cher thanked her fans, who she calls her brats, for her chart success.
She tweeted: “It's so amazing Want U Back has sold one million copies in America. My Brats rock, thank you!”
Lloyd has been busy in the States travelling across the country on a radio tour and meeting fans.
All her hard work has paid off as Want U Back hit the iTunes Top 10 in the US last month and has stayed there.
The singer is now set to release a reworked version of Sticks + Stones in the US.
It will include unheard tracks and new guest vocalists including Snoop Dogg.
Hopefully, her success in the US will make up for the welcome she received at the V Festival.
Cher found herself jeered by the audience and some music fans threw bottles of urine at her.
She told the crowd: “It's hard enough being up here, but it's not nice having bottles of p**s chucked at you.”
