Whitney Houston has hit back at "ridiculous" rumours she was hospitalised because of drug use.
The 'Million Dollar Bill' singer was forced to postpone four shows on the European leg of her world tour this week - when she was admitted to hospital in Paris, France, with an upper respiratory infection - but has rubbished claims she has relapsed into drug use.
Whitney - who was discharged yesterday (07.04.10) - said: "I'm feeling great. I'm just ready to move on and continue my world tour."
Asked about drug use speculation, she replied: "Ridiculous. At this point, I just don't respond. I don't even read it."
Whitney is adamant she was admitted to hospital on doctor's orders.
She added: "My health is terrific. But this is a time when I get a lot of allergies."
Whitney, 46, admitted in 2002 to having had problems with drink and drugs, including marijuana and crack cocaine, which at the time was partly blamed on her destructive relationship with then-husband Bobby Brown.
However, she has since recovered and launched her comeback last year.
The singer's 'Nothing But Love' World Tour 2010 will resume again next week in Birmingham, England.
