Susan Boyle has enjoyed the best year of her life since her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent made her a world-wide star. Now, she is reaping the rewards of her success and next month, will compete for the accolade off Best International Album at The Juno Awards in Canada.

Her massively popular debut album I Dreamed a Dream faces tough competition from the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D., Britney Spears' Circus, Kings of Leon's Only by the Night and Taylor Swift's Fearless.

Susan could just pip these major artists to the post as I Dreamed a Dream was the best-selling release in Canada last year.

Michael Buble has also enjoyed phenomenal success in the past few years and this has earned him six nominations, including best album and single.

Leading the way for younger musicians, teen star Justin Bieber has three nominations.

It is not yet known if Susan will attend the awards ceremony but Hip-Hop star, Drake, multi-platinum singer songwriter, Johnny Reid, Justin Bieber and Michael Buble are already confirmed to perform.

The Juno awards ceremony will take place on April 18 in St. John's, Newfoundland and will air live nationwide on the CTV networks.

Yes, I am a devoted fan of Susan. I think she should win this award as she has faced so many difficulties to achieve this worldwide success. She has shown courage, integrity and humility in the face of overwhelming odds while refusing to retaliate to untrue and unfounded criticism. What an amazing lady she is to overcome all sorts of prejudice simply with her wonderful voice and sweet, charming nature. She has brought immense hope and joy to thousands of people and beaten so many records that they it's impossible to remember them all. All power to her.

I think she should sing WITH the Black Eyed Peas. They've got a great sense of humor.

Spears needs to just go away. What an insult for her to be nominated.

How wonderful to see that she's finally getting some of the recognition that she so much deserves.

It's just very sad that it's coming from another country and she was snubbed in her own.

Susan deserves this award. Will I Am of the Black Eyed Peas is always getting sued for ripping somebody's musical work off (I think that Fergie would be better off with a completely separate solo career) and Britney Spears is a no talent lipsynching hack. If I wanted to hear a CD/MP3 play (which is what is playing when somebody is lipsynching), I would go home and turn on my stereo system or computer. Susan Boyle doesn't need a computer program to sound good. Go Susan!!!!!!
