All gone: Tickets for this year's T in the Park are snapped up.

T in the Park 2010 tickets all sold out within 90 minutes of them being available. Record numbers of music fans deluged the festival website in a bid to get briefs.

The line-up was only announced on Tuesday and includes Muse, Eminem and Kasabian.

Insiders and fans agree it’s the best selection of acts ever. The Black Eyed Peas, The Prodigy and Jay-Z are among 40 other top artists announced so far.

Geoff Ellis, festival director at DF Concerts, said: “We know that we have an exceptionally strong line-up for 2010 but you can’t be complacent, it’s still momentous for us to sell out now as it was the first time we did and we’re really delighted.

“It’s great to know 85,000 music lovers think we’ve made the right choices and can’t wait for July 9th, and we can’t wait to put the best T in the Park yet on for them.”

Meanwhile, head of sponsorship and founding partners Tennent’s Lager added: “Everybody at Tennent’s is delighted at the news that T in the Park 2010 has sold out and we are really looking forward to welcoming the Balado faithful back in July.”

T in the Park takes place in Balado, Kinross-shire from Friday, 9 to Sunday, 11 July.
