N-Dubz frequently hit the headlines over their personal lives, but the band told STV that they just do their best to deal with good and bad press – and that more often that not what is written isn’t true.

And they said that anything that anyone wants to know about them, whether fans or critics of the band, can be found in their forthcoming autobiography.

The guys were talking to us at a breakfast event organised by Radio Clyde, during which they performed a number of their big hits including I Need You and Number 1, their collaboration with Tinchy Stryder.

Tulisa said that the book is going to be a full-on, no-holds barred story of their lives from the last ten years: “The autobiography is from as long as we’ve been in N-Dubz, so the past ten years when we started up until now, revolving around our personal, street and career life,” she said. “It’s very raw, really raw. It’ll probably tell you everything you’d ever be intrigued to know.”

The singer continued: “You will feel like you know us a lot better, and maybe understand us a bit better. I think the more judgemental people will either dislike us even more, or they might actually be able to have a level of respect for us. They might not necessarily like us, but they’ll understand why we are the way we are.”

Bandmate and cousin Dappy added: “But if those mad, crazy, judgemental people wanna have something to say, we’ll say something back to them.”

Check out our chat with the band, when they told us their plans for cracking America and those rumours about Simon Cowell helping them to achieve their dreams stateside.
