Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman are touring the UK, and say that they are pleased to finally get the chance to play here.
"The one question we get a lot is why don't we come over to the UK ever, and this is is actually the first time after three records we've actually been able to come over and do a proper tour," said singer Tyler Connolly.
"We've just been so happy to come over here and play finally." he added.
The band are playing to promote of their new single Not Meant to Be, the sixth single from their album Scars and Souvenirs.
It's the follow-up to Hate my life, which proved to be one of the most memorable songs of the summer.
The band's album, their third, has already sold over 500,000 copies in the USA, but despite enjoying huge success there, they remain less well known in Europe, a situation that the band are now trying to change.
Bass player Dean Back added: ""I think a lot of bands forget that outside North America there's other fan bases, and when we had the opportunity to play over here it was something we absolutely wanted to do."
The band's singer Tyler Connolly and bass player Dean Back spoke to STV's John Kilbride backstage at the Garage venue in Glasgow, talking about their recent tour with Motley Cure, their singles and how the band enjoy playing the UK after touring some of North America's biggest venues.
