The Kaiser Chiefs have denied rumours they are splitting up.
Reports surfaced that the rockers were to make their last appearance at the Leeds Festival 2009, which was held at the weekend.
It is thought the rumours began on the social networking site Twitter, and were sparked following a report from the radio station Xfm.
But the band’s drummer, Nick Hodgson, denied there was any truth in them.
He told NME.com: People only write sensationalist stuff on Twitter so people will read it.
“I can definitely confirm that Xfm have got it wrong."
