Uri Geller suspects stress killed Michael Jackson

Performer and Psychic Uri Geller has said that he believes "immense stresses" were the cause of Michael Jackson's death.

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead yesterday at 2.26pm local time (9.26pm GMT) after suffering a suspected heart attack, aged just 50.

Geller was a close friend of the singer and was clearly in shock as he told Sky News: "He was in good shape... I'm not a doctor, but I can only assume he was under immense stresses and pressures, and you can ask any doctor - stress is a killer."

Sharing his fond memories of Michael he said: "He was a happy man when fans were around - he drank their love. He loved what he did, but somewhere in his deep dark corners of his heart, he was a confused man and a lonely person. The reason was because nobody could understand him.

"He is in heaven now, a better place than us. God rest his soul."

Geller was reported to have previously commented that Michael Jackson's planned 50-date residency at London's O2 arena was too ambitious.
