9.32pm It is so tense in here. We are really not sure who will get it or who deserves it, most of them were amazing tonight.

9.31pm It's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9.30pm Ella, Netherlands

"Hi all!

I do adore Susan Boyle.  I am an ardent fan and hope she makes it!

But I am now also a Stavros Flatley fan!  Goodness, why can't we have TWO winners?

Couldn't watch the show live in The Netherlands, but I've been hugging my keyboard the whole evening, and standing up now and then to make cups of hopefully calming tea.  No avail ..."

9.30pm Chis Stahelin US

"Simon seems to have a heart...A softer side I am seeing.   Not the same Simon we see here on Idol.

All contestants are deserving of the win.

Michigan in USA is rooting for SuBo."

9.15pm Fifteen minutes, this is your 15 minute warning people! Get your cup of tea / something stronger and get ready...

9.14pm Jeannine from New Zealand says:

"Hi all, It's Jeannine here from South Africa - I am sitting here at my computer hoping to hear that Susan is the winner.  I cannot wait for her CD/DVD's to come out.  What a magical voice she has.  We love you dearly."

9.13pm Jack from New Zealand says:

8.42pm Blog viewer Aleeta Rachel Hall says:

"when and where can we in America...hear our favorite singer Susan Boyle sing?
Can hardly wait to buy here dvd or cd with her singing.... will play it day and night....and night and day... love you dear susan..."

8.24pm Ok people, the show is over for now whilst people vote. It will be back in an hour for the result. Aaaaaah, we can't wait that long! Whilst we grab some dinner, remember to email in questions and thoughts to entertainment@stv.tv and well try and respond. We'll also update you as soon as we hear anything so don't disappear, we will be back!!

8.23pm Our STV reporter Nicol Nicolson was at the community centre in Blackburn when Susan sang and the locals went mad. You couldn't hear her. Do you think she can do it?

8.19pm Flawless were sexy, cool and slick. Shaheen -he was amazing tonight but we weren't too keen on the song. Aidan - we thought he was good but Simon made him cry! 2 Grand had a fluff at the start but they did well. Hollie - she really really impressed tonight, strong contender. Stavros Flatley - so funny and great personality. Shaun Smith - good but not sure if good enough. Susan Boyle (Su-Bo) - outstanding. Diversity - we're in awe of these guys and Julian Smith - simply beautiful (his playing as well as his looks!)

8.18pm We're on recap time now...

8.17pm Piers is also a fan. Julian seems so lovely and he is so softly spoken and humble. He did very well, he may also be in with a shout. Oh it's just too tough, we want everyone to win!!!!!!

8.16pm Amanda:

"You're going to go a long way darling"

8.15pm Simon:

"You did it, the public like you, well done"

8.15pm Julian:

"I really wanted to round the show off nicely for everyone"

8.14pm Everyone's on their feet again!

8.13pm. Complete with beanie hat, he is playing There's A Place For Us from West Side Story. Once again, simply stunning. How can he make blowing that sax look and sound cool?

8.13pm Is it wrong to fancy him a little?

8.12pm Julian Smith is the last one! No, it can't be all of them already? We're upset, it's gone so quickly.

8.12pm Again, that was controversial for the audience!

8.11pm Piers:

"I think Flawless edged it"

8.10pm Simon:

"All bets are off. If I had to give marks out of ten for the acts tonight, you would be the only one to get a ten."

8.10pm ooooooh the audience don't like that!

8.09pm Amanda:

"I think you've blown Flawless out of the water"

8.08pm Diversity:

"It's unexplainable how it feels. To come this far and to get a response like that, I can't thank everyone enough."

8.07pm We think they're made of rubber!

8.06pm Diversity - how do they do these robotic moves? It's scary? A little one appeared as Superman. They are so slick and outstanding. Wonder if they would like a new member???!

8.05pm Diversity:

"It feels amazing to be in the final, it's the best thing in the world"

8.04pm We're back from the break and up next, it's Diversity

8.03pm Hello to the people staying up late in Vietnam, hope you're enjoying it.

8.02pm Whilst we're on a break, Patricia in Michigan, hope you are enjoying your sandwich!

8pm She was wonderful people, will be worth the wait when you see the clip. Isn't that song just perfect for her. She Dreamed a Dream, lets hope it comes true...

7.58pm Simon:

"Win or lose you had the guts to come back here tonight and face your critics and you beat them. You can walk away from this with your head held high, I adore you."

7.58pm Amanda:

"You did it girl"

7.58pm Piers:

"That to me was the greatest performance I've seen on BGT history, you should win it."

7.58pm Susan:

"I feel at home on stage of course I do? I am amongst friends am I not?!"

7.57pm Susan thanks you all for your support

7.56pm Judges on their feet

7.55pm Anyone from Kleenex watching this? We need sponsored. She is putting her heart and soul into it and it is stunning.

7.54pm She is singing I Dreamed a Dream again. She looks her lovely old slef in a long dark grey sparkly dress.

7.53pm Susan:

"The pressure put on me this week has been overwhelming. It's the most important night of my life tonight, the accumulation of 40 years of dreaming."

7.53pm What's she going to sing? The recap is so emotional. Oh and we love Pebbles her cat!

7.52pm Susan Boyle gang!!!!!

7.52pm Shaun jokes about giving up rugby. Amanda says he should to protect his face!

7.51pm Amanda and Piers agree and Amanda calls him "sexy". ooooh

7.50pm Simon:

"You've got every chance now"

7.50pm Shaun

"If I got this I'de be over the moon."

7.48pm Shaun sings Aint No Sunshine. He sang this in the audition. It's very nice but emmm, outstanding? Hmmmm not sure if it's strong enough to win. Julia prefers Will Young's version (she looooooves him)  but the crowd love Shaun.

7.47pm Jake and gang, thank you for your kind words, you will set us off again!

7.46pm Shaun Smith next. The girlies love him...

7.43pm Ah, my great informers, you have just told us that Demi and Ashton aren't there. Pah the press, who can trust them!!! She says, joking as she types for a TV station! Oh and Jo in Canada - the winner will be annoucned at approx ten pm our time.

7.42pm Demetrios could have his own show, he is such a comedian and charmer. He told Piers he was the man, Amanda, he loved her (in Greek of course) and Simon? He said he must have some Greek in him somewhere cause he's just to cool. The audience lap it up. They are true contenders too! We just can't call this one. Break now my dears!

7.42pm Piers

"I think it would be hillarious if you performed for the Queen I would join you!"

7.41pm Piers and Simon love them too.

7.40pm Amanda

"You are my favourite act, I love you. I don't know if I'm allowed to say it but I want you to win. Come on everybody vote vote vote!"

7.38pm Demetrios

"Karen did you press record on the video player?!"

7.37pm Stavros Flatley joined by Irish Dancers. The crowd goes wild!!!!!!!! As do we in our little office!

7.36pm Oh and for anyone who's interested - no sign of Demi and Ashton in the audience... we'll keep an eagle eye out.

7.35pm Dancing to Lord of the Dance ala Michael Flatley!

7.34pm We love Stavros Flatley. The father and son Irish Greek dancers just make us smile.

7.33pm The competition just stepped up a gear. Oh, and we see Hollie hug her mum at the side of the stage. This is all too much... but to dry my tears, it's Stavros Flatley!

7.33pm Simon

"Taking everything in to account, you were fantastic! You chose a tough song, you coped with all the pressure you're under. You put yourself back in the competition. Not through pity but through talent."

7.33pm Amanda

"You were better than yesterday, congratulations"

7.32pm Piers

"I though it was wonderful"

7.32pm Hollie

"I was much more not nervous. It made me feel much better"

7.31pm Ok no exaggeration. Beautiful, stunning, could win. No joke. You have to hear this. What a difference!

7.30pm Ok, Laura is off again. She is amazing. What an angelic voice. The high notes. Simon looks in shock!

7.29pm Singing Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera.

7.28pm In case you have been in hiding, Hollie is the ten year old girl who broke down in tears half way through her performance. She was allowed to sing again and got through to the final. Controversial? She's only ten, give her a chance!

7.27pm Back to the show... and it's Hollie, oh my. Pease let her get through it.

7.26pm Too excited to even eat our little jam cakes! Anyone having a BGT party? Let us know at entertainment@stv.tv

7.24pm Hello Jake in Canada! We are two girlies in our twenties and BGT has taken over our life's. We have been lucky enough to meet some of the acts, speaks to Su-Bo on the phone and chat to her brother. We eat sleep and breathe it and it's lovely to hear you're enjoying the show. But who's going to win? We are so nervous, they are all so good!

7.23pm Time for break. Hollie and Stavros up next. Oh help, I feel so nervous for Hollie!

7.22pm Amanda agrees with Simon but is pleased for the pair. They really are lovely but I hate to say it, I agree with Simon and Amanda.

7.21pm Piers

"Wherever your wife is watching she'll think 'wow' they got to the final of BGT"

7.20pm Simon

"You're one of those acts you will to do well. I think you've gone as far as you're going to go. I don't think you're going to win, but there are more talented acts but I love you too."

7.19pm - A Whole New World? It would be if they won but can they? Not sure after that performance

7.19pm Better than Jordan and Peter's version though!

7.18pm John misses his cue in the song - A Whole New World from Aladdin. He manages to bring it back. Sallie has a lovely voice though. Just as well, John is slightly off...

7.17pm John

"This is the first time I've been happy in 16 months"

7.16pm Next up 2 Grand. Oh no the tears will continue. John says his dead wife will be so proud. They are so sweet.

7.16pm He wiped his tears on his little blue cardigan sleeve - I can't take this.

7.15pm Piers says he disagrees and Aidan is crying. Booooo to you Simon. I am crying now!

7.14pm Simon:

"It wasn't as good as last night. You still have your charisma, you still have your talent. It didn't quite have the impact of last night."

7.14pm Amanda

"I feel like you're a superstar waiting to happen"

7.13pm Aidan:

"I only rehearsed 3 times!"

7.12pm Honestly, that was amazing. Perhaps even better than last years George Sampson.

7.11pm He is so talented. The visuals behind him make it look like there's about ten of him on the stage. Dancing to Flo Rida's Low.

7.11pm Aidan Davis - soooo cute and so talented!

7.09pm 1 performance for each act. No guest artists scheduled as far as we know. We're not sure but think Susan Boyle may be 8th performer tonight. Hope this helps!

7.08pm Ok. for all fans outside UK some facts. Programme lasts 1hr 45 mins then back for half hour at half nine.

7.06pm So we've seen Flawless and Shaheen. Still to come: Aidan Davis, 2 Grand, Hollie Steele, Stavros Flatley, Shaun Smith, Susan Boyle, Diversity and Julian Smith.

7.04pm Shaheen performing for the Queen? It's like a little rap. He was very good and a lovely young man. He could be in with a shout. Break coming up, phew!

7.03pm Simon

"If you're talented and you can cope with it ,why shouldn't we let you through... You're in with a real shot here Shaheen of winning this show"

7.02pm Amanda:

"Amazing, better and better every time"

7.02pm Piers:

"Incredible. That was for your age incredible."

7.01pm Judges on their feet - again. Amanda's will be killing her in those shoes!

7pm: Shaheen sings Who's Loving You by the Jackson 5. He looks sweet in a little blue shirt and waistcoat but what a big voice. As good as the semi-final? Not sure.

6.59pm Shaheen:

"It means so much to be here in the final tonight. Singing is something I love to do so much. I'm really determined to sing my heart out. This means a lot to me and I'm not going to let it end here"

6.58pm What can I say - Flawless were simply flawless! Shaheen up now...

6.57pm Amanda:

"You make me proud to be British, you're the creme de la creme"

6.56pm Piers:

"Must be one of the best dance acts in the world"

6.55pm Simon:

"It's an incredible start. By any standard you should be walking a competition like this. Tonight we have a competition"

6.53pm Waow - so stunning  and their moves are perfection. Starts off to a Michael Jackson medley then goes into I Feel Good by James Brown. Then back to good old Jacko. Head spins aplenty. The crowd go wild. All three judges are on their feet. So would we be if we didn't have to type!

6.52pm Dance act Flawless are up first

"For tonight's performance we've stepped our game up and it's going to be electrifying!"

6.51pm Simon:

"I am keeping my mouth shut tonight"

6.50pm Amanda says:

"I am going to sit back like the rest of Great Britain and be entertained"

6.49pm And now the judges... Amanda looks stunning in a red ballgown style dress. Like a movie star. Simon and Piers? look the same as ever.

6.48pm Ant and Dec have taken to the stage looking dapper as ever.

6.47pm Susan Boyle:"I'm going to give it my all, I'm going to really go for it!"
