In an exclusive interview with STV, the four boys from Devon revealed how The Days came to be and where their perfectly crafted pop comes from.
The 4 piece, which are made up of Luke Simpkins (vocals/piano), Dan Simpkins (bass), Harry Meads (drums) and Tim Ayers (guitar) have all known eachother for a long time.
"Me and Luke played football together at school and Dan and I where in a wind band together, playing clarinet and saxophone," Harry explained to STV.
"And me and Harry were in our first band together," Tim added.
All hailing from sunny Devon they create feel-good pop tunes with catchy, guitar and piano driven melodies together.
"I quite often sing absolute gobbledegook and then it just comes out from that," a modest Luke explained. Luke has written most of the songs on their debut album himself.
Their first single, No Ties was released in January and its popularity got them touring the UK with both Paolo Nutini and Scouting For Girls.
And now they are touring the country as the headlining band themselves and about the release their second single, Never Give Up on the 4th May. Plus, their debut album is coming out in the summer.
"We're really looking forward to touring the country this year, promoting our album and we'll see where it goes from there," Harry said.
"We just love playing our music."
"And we'd love to do a world tour, that would be cool," Luke added with a smile.
The music video for the new single, Never Give Up, which you can watch here, sees the band challenged to play for 24 hours non-stop until there is only one man left standing.
"We all collapsed, apart from Dan who was the last man standing. He's quite proud of that fact," Luke quipped.
