Britain’s Got Talent megastar Susan Boyle today unveiled the extent of a stunning new makeover.
Her famously bushy eyebrows have been plucked into sophisticated arches and her wiry fly-away hair has been cut and coloured. She’s now sporting a wavy, auburn cut to frame her freshly pampered face.
The singing sensation has become the most watched YouTube hit ever after stunning the judges and public alike with an awesome performance of ‘I Have a Dream’ at her talent show audition.
Amanda Holden was quick to beg her not to change her image, but after watching herself on TV Susan said she was shocked at her own appearance.
She laughed: "I will need to sort out my dress sense and weight. It wasn't until I saw myself on TV that I realised how frumpy I was. I want to look nice, and smart.
"I looked like a garage. It was mortifying to see and a bit of a shock. I didn't realise I could reduce people to tears and I hope it wasn't because of that."
The down-to-earth spinster from West Lothian in Scotland set about making a host of changes to her appearance on her own, spurning the traditional TV production makeover.
First came a youthful leather jacket from budget clothes shop Primark, which has now been joined by a pair of sexy red high heels.
Her infamously frumpy flower pattern dresses have also given way to some crisp dress trousers as she continues her amazing new life in the public eye.
