Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle is talking up her chances of going all the way in the TV talent show after saying she looking to go “to the bitter end”.
Susan, from Blackburn, West Lothian, blew the judges and audience away in the hit programme after initially drawing sniggers for her bushy eyebrows and wacky character.
But the unemployed 47-year-old, who admitted she’d “never been married, never been kissed” left Simon Cowell and co speechless with her performance of I Dreamed a Dream from West End musical Les Miserables.
Now Susan is aiming to go all the way in the competition, but insisted she will be taking it one step at a time.
“I can go through to the bitter end, but we’ll see what happens. Wee baby steps,” Susan told STV’s the five thirty show.
She also told how her overnight success has gone down in her home town.
“Everybody’s wanting my autograph I’m telling you it’s really surreal,” she added.
Susan has become an internet sensation with over 2.5 million hits on video sharing site YouTube.
Judge Piers Morgan said of her performance: "I have to admit that was my biggest surprise in three years of this show…That was stunning. I'm reeling from shock."
“Gobsmacked. Absolutely gobsmacked,” responded Susan to the attention she has been receiving.
