Ray Quinn looked red hot in his flamenco style costume.
The youngster has become the star of the show getting the highest scores each week. But in this competition, no one is safe, so Ray is under just as much pressure as the rest of the skaters.
Torvill and Dean decided that Ray’s skate this week would have a Latino theme. He relished this challenge as he has been performing Latin and ballroom dancing most of his life, but could he take his transfer his skills to the ice?
Of course he could.
Skating to Bailamos by Enrique Iglesias, Ray gave another jaw dropping performance.
His snake hips saw him pull off moves that wouldn’t look out of place in a hot and steamy club in Buenos Aires. His routine was filled with intricate skating and sexy moves, that would make the ladies watching hot under the collar and as for the Matador jump? He really is in a league of his own.
Would this be another top marked performance? Well Nicky thought so, awarding Ray 6.
All the other judges gave him 5.5 28 out of 30
Speaking after, Ray said that this was: “one of his most favourite routines.”
Partner Maria Filippov added: “he was so sexy out there, I was like waow.”
Judge Nicky said: “he’s so far above everyone else now.”
Karen Barber had the final word: “it was fantastic but it wasn’t perfect, next time it’ll be perfect.”
