Loose Woman Coleen Nolan and skating partner Stuart Widdall scored 14.5 in the '80s themed week.
The skating duo performed to Chris de Burgh’s classic, Lady In Red, with both embracing a literal interpretation by wearing bright red outfits.
The pair felt their performance was a success; however, the judges took a different view, feeling the performance was tame despite the visuals.
Judge Ruthie Henshall scored the routine 3.0: “It was tentative again. I wanted you to take more of a risk.”
Offering some advice, she added, “Your lines in your upper body are lovely but you now need to work on your lower body, your legs. But well done.”
Likewise, Nicky Slater criticised the TV presenter for her lack of speed on the ice.
“The presentation was lovely but the speed is very, very slow on the ice, but it is tentative,” he said.
Slater continued, “I feel that you can do so much more because skating is not just about power it’s about technique. I’ve seen you skate faster earlier in the competition so I hope you can get that back.”
Taking his criticisms into consideration, the judge awarded the skating couple 2.5 for their night’s performance.
