Actress Roxanne Pallett has had her latest Dancing on Ice performance savaged by judge Jason Gardiner who described it as being so bad it was “like going to the dentist.”

The Emmerdale star and partner Dan Whiston skated to Hallelujah by Alexandra Burke and scored 16.5 from the judges.

However there was no holding back from moody Gardiner, who pulled no punches in his scathing review of the performance.

“Hallelujah that’s over,” said Gardiner. “I’m sorry but your performance, it’s like going to the dentist, I never look forward to it and it leaves me numb.

“Your leg lines are abysmal. Getting into the headbanger was like getting into a hessian sack of potatoes.”

But defiant Roxanne answered back to Gardiner: “Next time you go to the dentist can they take all your teeth out please.”

Pallet did receive a more positive response from judge Karen Barber, who was pleased with the progress the soap actress has made.

“Your headbanger became the float which is equally nice to watch. Soften your leading hand. Your progress is consistent. She works hard."
