Written directed and starring Tom Hanks, Larry Crowne sees the Oscar winner team up with another fellow Oscar winner Julia Roberts.
Hanks has crafted a lightweight comedy drama which tells the tale of a middle aged man who reinvents himself by going back to college after losing his job. Julia Roberts plays his new teacher who eventually falls for the charms of the Forrest Gump star.
As Hanks tells STV, ''The vast majority of the men in this word if they are sitting in a class would love the teacher to walk in and look like Julia Roberts. Her character may be a little formidable and no nonsense but as soon as she walks in Larry is smitten.''
Larry Crowne opens in cinemas July 1st.
