If you’re looking for a film jam-packed with two and a half hours of stunning special effects then Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon in 3D is the movie for you.
Shia LeBeouf returns as Sam Whitwicky as a threat from Earth’s past brings a war to the planet so big that the Transformers alone will not be able so save the planet.
Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson return as army soldiers, while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley takes over from Megan Fox as Sam’s love interest Carly.
Other stars joining the cast are Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey.
Speaking to STV’s Grant Laughlin, LeBeouf said: “I think [Transformers 3] is without a doubt our best film.
“I think the first movie is incredible because it’s the discovery but I think this is really the perfection of all the elements.
“I think everybody just fired on another level for this movie and everybody came to really play this time. It was a different vibe on set.”
