New blockbuster Bad Teacher sees Cameron Diaz playing a foul-mouthed, hard-drinking, pot smoking, wildly inappropriate teacher looking to marry her way out of her dead end life. This is something of a departure for Diaz who is most known for playing big-hearted endearing characters in films like My Best Friend's Wedding and There's Something About Mary.
This time around however, her character is a little less likeable.
"She wants nothing to do with being a teacher, living her life like she has to show up at this place during the day."
As you might expect, the Knight and Day actress was not initially into the script.
"When I first started reading it really didn't like her and wasn't into it. But by the next ten pages I was hooked and new I had to play this part."
