The makers of Saw have joined forces with the producers of Paranormal Activity to take us on a terrifying mind bending journey into the world of the unknown with their chiller thriller Insidious.
Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne play Renai and Josh Lambert, a couple who have just moved into their new home when their young son Dalton suddenly sinks into an inexplicable coma.
Soon other things begin to happen that science cannot explain and the family move house, which proves fruitless. That’s when they have to call in psychic ghostbuster Elise Reiner, played by Lin Shaye, who tells them that it’s not the house that’s haunted; it’s their son.
Clever editing, sound effects and atmospheric lighting lend to the film’s jump out of your seat moments, and a twist in the tale will fill you with dread. Definitely not one for the faint hearted.
