We were a bit shocked when Robert Pattinson shaved off his trademark floppy locks, and it seems we’re not the only ones...
Twilight bosses weren’t exactly pleased when Rob showed up to reshoot scenes for Breaking Dawn part 2, minus Edward Cullen’s flowing hair.
According to The Sun, the costume department were tasked with creating a wig in the style of the Brit boy's barnet, so the new shots fit seamlessly into the movie.
A source told the paper: “The wig looks brilliant and nobody will notice.
"Robert didn’t think cutting off his locks would be such a big deal.”
Breaking Dawn part 2 – the final instalment in the Twilight saga (sniff sniff), is expected to hit cinemas in November.
The enormity of being part of the hugely successful franchise still hasn’t sunk in to R-Pattz.
In an interview with STV’s Grant Lauchlan, he said: “It’s completely crazy. I still feel like such an imposter. I feel like I’ve fallen through a rabbit hole and ended up in this completely surreal universe where people scream at you.
“Cause when you’re shooting the movies, it feels like shooting any other movie. Then you do the premieres where you suddenly realise ok, other premieres don’t have 3000 people camping for a week before hand. It never stops felling surreal for me.”
