Headhunters heads to big screen delivering tension, surprises and black humour

The Norwegian noir thriller Headhunters is based on crime writer Jo Nesbo’s best-selling novel.

Aksel Hennie plays Roger, an accomplished headhunter living a life of luxury well beyond his means – and stealing art to subsidise his expensive lifestyle.

Hennie explained: “Roger Brown is a guy who has based his life upon a lie, a big fat lie.

“He’s about to get caught in that.”

The sub-titled film delivers tension, surprises and plenty of black humour along the way.

You can read Michael MacLennan’s extremely positive review of the Norwegian movie when it showed at the Glasgow Film Festival in February.
